ABOUT THIS TRAINING:
Arabic speakers tend to use slang and idiomatic expressions from their own region. Arabic slang includes many words and phrases that are used in every day. Slang and idioms are in the Arabic language but in different dialects. Using slang sometimes causes interpreters to face linguistic challenges when interpreting different dialects in the Arabic language.
In this training, the Arabic Interpreter will learn skills in handling slang and idioms in different Arabic dialects. Interpreters will learn about some Arabic slang with various or opposite meanings. This training will provide interpreters with tools on how to manage different Arabic dialects during constructive interpretation.
